Tips for a successful Interview:
- Research the company your interviewing with, impress them with your knowledge
- Write a list of questions you would like to ask the employer about the company, job and or work environment / culture
- Be 10 minutes early, read an article or book while waiting (industry related)
- Practice answering interview questions with a trained career counselor such as, where do you see yourself in 5-years, how would you prioritize the following tasks, what would you do if a customer asked you to bend the rules?
- If a hand shake is initiated by the employer, meet them with a return firm hand shake
- Smile and make eye contact
